We’ve got the epitome of a top heavy Monday with just four new titles we’re talking about, but the top two are relatively big, even if one is on Nat Geo. A Small Light [Nat Geo, 9p]
This biographical miniseries about Anne Frank focuses on the story of Miep Gies, who helped hide the Frank family during WWII. It was Gies who retrieved Anne’s diary after they were arrrested. Unfortunately, we know how the story ends for the Frank family with only father Otto surviving the concentration camps, but Gies was a hero and deserves to have her story told. And NatGeo is getting really good at biographical mini-series.
