If you liked Shameless, you may want to check out this brand new (started last week) HBO show. We’ve got another working class family scheming their way to survival. It’s a potentially depressing watch given how more and more of us find ourselves in this situation. But it has humor and heart that may help us get through another day. New episode tonight!

KATHERINE’S PICK:
Mean Girl Murders [ID, 9p]
Investigation Discovery uncovers the politics of mean girl cliques–and how they lead to murder. Tonight’s murder is about high school girls, of course, but other episodes look at Vegas show girls, the ABQ party scene, and rodeo queens in Texas.
