What To Watch: 02/11/2022

It’s a surprisingly busy Saturday, even with nobody yelling “live from New York, it’s Saturday night,” and with that big game looming over everything. Our top choice is the latest standup special by one of the masters–a man who famously shared his story of auditioning for SNL on his insanely popular podcast. There’s also a Fox sports documentary, the return of a CW reality show,

BRAD’S PICK:
Marc Maron: From Bleak to Dark [HBO, 10p]
Marc Maron is back with a new special. Poor guy is neurotic as is, I hasten to think what COVID-19 has done to the dude. Seriously, WTF. Add to that the current state of politics and you have a brew for some serious pathos. Good thing about Marc is that he makes it funny. Hang in there buddy; we’re rooting for you!

JASON’S PICK:
The Perfect 10 [Fox, 8p]
I’ve been very vocal about my disinterest in football after an exhausting season for my favorite team (the Bills), and am not particularly planning to watch tomorrow’s game. That said, I do still tear up at amazing sports history moments. This special promises a forum of all the living people who have both won the Heisman Trophy in college and made the NFL Hall of Fame. It’s a bit of a lie as there is one alive member of this club, but it’s pretty understandable why he’s not there. I’ll also still watch even though there’s no Bills connection (because of the running back that I’m perfectly fine with not being there).

KATHERINE’S PICK:
A Paris Proposal [Hallmark, 8p]
Nothing’s more romantic than going to Paris for work for a diamond contract only to end up engaged by the end of the trip to your colleague. It’s weird how people need to be mistaken as romantic couples to close accounts, right?

BUT, WAIT, THERE’S MORE:
