It’s an extremely sparse Saturday unless you like melodramatic movies or fix-it shows. Oh, there is that longest running comedy on television with a new episode featuring a promising host.

BRAD’S PICK:
Saturday Night Live [NBC, 11:30p]
Catwoman herself Zoe Kravitz is hosting a new episode of SNL. Admittedly the Oscar Isaac episode wasn’t the best the season so I’m hoping for a return to form. Oh and MORE SARAH SHERMAN!!! Rosalia brings the Latin grooves as the musical guest!

JASON’S PICK:
Build It Forward [HGTV, 6p]
I’m not one to push a home makeover show, but it’s a slow day and this show is for a good cause. Taniya Nayak and Matt Blashaw build homes in developmental areas where housing is at a premium.

BUT, WAIT, THERE’S MORE:

• It’s surely a record for pictures of one man and one woman in denim holding tools (again quiet day). HGTV is debuting a second program, Mash-Up Your House starring Kele Dobrinski and Christina Valencia.
