Tell everybody waiting for the season finale of Superman (& Lois), that they should try to hold out the best they can… as it will be coming just in a few hours in the prime time schedule. It’s a relatively quiet day overall, but there are some new episodes of some above average shows.

BRAD’S PICK:
Superman & Lois [The CW, 9p]
It’s been a season a season of ups and downs–Morgan Edge creating an army of Supermen–while defiling Superman’s image. It’s been Lois finding a new journalism career while in conflict with her dad and the DEO and love triangles for the kids (and adjusting to re powers). It all comes to head tonight on the season finale. In all seriousness, it has been a good season of superhero fiction so now’s the chance to see how it all wraps up.
JASON’S PICK:
Miracle Workers [TBS, 10:30p]
Now’s as good a time as any to latch onto this little gem of a repertory anthology featuring Steve Buscemi and Daniel Radcliffe. It’s midway through its third season, with the cast on the Oregon Trail (most not yet dead of dysentery) and it’s a holiday episode as the gang stops a-movin’ to celebrate the 4th of July.
BUT, WAIT, THERE’S MORE:

- It’s unexpected visitor time for Courtney as she tries to fight for what’s right, using some superpowers of course, as we head into the second episode of the second season of The CW’s Stargirl.
- While we’re all for body positivity, we’re always a bit wary of anything on TLC as they rarely do anything not exploitative. In any case, the ninth season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life debuts tonight on the network.
- If you’re looking after little ones and you believe they will not be scarred by anymated motor vehicles with bizarre faces drawn on their windshields, the fifth season of Go! Go! Cory Carson drops today on Netflix. In fairness, the trailer did make the 48-year-old writer of this round-up chuckle a few times.
