JASON’S PICK:
Tig Notaro: Drawn [HBO, 10p]
This animated HBO hour would not be the first time Tig Notaro changed the notion of what is a comedy special. However, this one is neither sadly spontaneous nor tainted by promotion by a known skeever (who also then stole her sketch for what would ultimately be his final SNL appearance). But I shouldn’t taint her latest success with that. I’m just excited about her return to standup.

KATHERINE’S PICK:
Eden: Untamed Planet [BBC America, 8p]
Explore Borneo, a rich rainforest that’s home to 40,000 species of plants and animals, 6,000 of which are unique to the area. 

BUT, WAIT, THERE’S MORE:

• Just because he’s from a dying industrial town doesn’t mean that Anthony Sowell’s serial killing exploits should be underrated. Oxygen knows this and shines the light on the recently executed psychopath’s with Snapped Notorious: The Cleveland Strangler.
• We’ll close out a Saturday that as busy as it is is still Saturday, so we’re already at the closing Lifetime movie and tonight’s offering is Next Door Nightmare. Anything we come up with would likely not be as crazy as the real plot.
