What To Watch: 05/22/2021

When our top shows are animal vets (not that these shows aren’t guilty pleasures), that says about all you need to know about this Saturday’s new offerings. However, if you’re not still catching up on last night’s streaming–well, you’re monsters, you’re all monsters. So, yes, above, that is Critter Fixers: Country Vets on Nat Geo Wild. All joking aside, it looks like a lot of fun.

  • Comics have albums, so Reelz’ Redd Foxx: Life Death & Money is still somewhat in the network’s demise of musical artists theme. He had a sweet life and died doing what he loved, so this is worth a watch.
  • Lifetime’s new movie is A Predator Returns so it could be a slice of life comedy about a oft-invisible human-eating monster adapting to life in a new city or a thriller about a shark enthusiast who hunts young girls. Either seems about as plausible (or helpful to society). And that’s all we got for today, but wait til you see how much new stuff drops tomorrow, both on TV and streaming.
  • Oh, also the 46th season of SNL comes to a close with a thankfully less Musk-y host, The Queen Gambit‘s Anya Taylor-Joy. That should actually pretty good.
