It’s back to a soft Saturday, but there is a new SNL (unlike last week we’re pretty sure) and one of the more interesting Hallmark films. And if that’s not enough, there were a ton of new shows from a busy Streaming Friday to binge your weekend away.

JASON’S PICK:

After SNL‘s first asterisked show since 2015, we return to sanity with the palette that is sketch comedy legend Keegan-Michael Key. What is this, a crossover episode?!

KATHERINE’S PICK:
Sweet Carolina [Hallmark, 9p]
A marketing executive returns to her quaint hometown when she (and this is a twist!) unexpectedly called home to care for her niece and nephew (seriously, this is Lifetime territory). She falls back in love with her high school sweetheart, of course, and this writer assumes she renounces the big city and all of its sin.
