Doctors and zombies and mutants, oh my! Let’s dive right into tonight’s Wednesday line-up.
KATHERINE’S PICK:
Lenox Hill [Netflix]
Four doctors at New York’s storied Lenox Hill Hospital balance their personal lives and their dedication to their patients in this documentary series.
JASON’S PICK:
Reality Z [Netflx]
This Brazilian series is based on the excellent (and quite chilling) British mini-series The Dead Set. As a sucker for both zombie programs and fake reality shows, I’m here for it.
BRAD’S PICK:
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. [ABC, 10p]
Anoch is stranded in 1931 and the other agents are transported to another decade where they feel out of place. This series has had a whirlwind final season so far and shows no sign of slowing down.
ALSO ON TAP TONIGHT
- Hailing from Italy, Curon tells the story of a haunted town in which a bell’s ring most certainly does not have anything to do with an angel getting its wings, but that the townsfolk’s repressed and painful memories will bubble to the surface.
- Perhaps the grittiest show on the CW — possibly b/c it originated on Britain’s Sky — Bulletproof returns for a second season tonight. Even the CW might be confused as to its existence on its ‘waves, as it’s hard to find much promotion for it — and the CW hyper-promotes EVERYTHING!
- They’re dead, they’re dead, they’re dead, and out of this world! The beleaguered human Guillermo finally deserts his familiar role, and the Staten Island vampires are a wreck on the season finale of one of the best shows on television, FX’s What We Do In The Shadows.
