While Fall TV week was last week, there are new shows trickling in, and tonight’s top entry is a remake of an underrated Australian dramedy popularized on Netflix.
KATHERINE’S PICK:
Almost Family [Fox, 9p]
Brittany Snow, Emily Osment, and Megalyn Echikunwoke stars as sisters (with about 97 more siblings). Their biological father, played by Timothy Hutton, is a fertility doctor who used his own sperm on patients. If it sounds familiar, this is Fox’s Americanized Sisters; the Australian comedy is on Netflix.
JASON’S PICK:
Living Undocumented [Netflix]
It’s a hot button topic, and many are ready to dismiss the humanity of people who have entered America in an extralegal manner. This docu-series produced by Selena Gomez strives to remind us that those half the country call “illegal” are humans, which is a fact all of us need to have underscored right about now.
BRAD’S PICK:
South Park [Comedy, 10p]
Randy sees a possibility to bring Tegridy to China. I’m not sure where this going, but I have a feeling Cartman will do something racist.
