What To Watch: 07/07/2019

There’s a sense of wonder this Sunday night as there’s multiple celebrations of when, a half-century ago, man walked on the moon, as well as some stout men jumping over objects because they are there. We also recommend dead that continue to walk, and comfort food delivered by truck.

Evel Live 2 [History, 9p]
The original Evel Knievel may be six feet under, but his anything-can-happen(-and-can-often-go-wrong) stuntman spirit lives on. A week after the Wallendas walked above Times Square, a pair of daredevils inspired by the legend do their thing.

Fear the Walking Dead [AMC, 9p]
The odds may be against Luciana and the group as they face an impossible task, but don’t count them out. Morgan does what he can to avert disaster. We may no longer have The Walking Dead in comic form, but we still have Fear.

The Great Food Truck Race [Food, 9p]
Only five trucks left! This week the teams are faced with a gator challenge in Fort Meyers, Florida. Tyler also tasks them to make a burger that takes “creative risks.”

  • So here’s some CNN content that actually does contain some fake news as the venerable network looks at the history of the motion picture with the efficiently titled The Movies.
  • The 50th Anniversary of the July 1969 moon landing starts to be honored with Smithsonian offering The Day We Walked On The Moon and the Nat Geo special Apollo: Missions To The Moon.
  • If you love your improv with a certain hip-hop flair, the long running series Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out returns on VH1.
  • If you thought Nate sucked before, your opinion probably won’t improve after tonight’s episode of HBO’s Euphoria, one of the best young shows about young people on now.
