There’s not a whole lot happening this weekend, but we do have an action film starring Gina Rodriguez.
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a Hindi-language romantic comedy.
Outlaws is an “epic and action-packed biker thriller” about Australian biker gangs.
Then Came You is (do you have your barfbag ready?) “sweet, uplifting tale that reminds us it’s not how long we live, but how we live the life we have, that matters.” It stars Maisie Williams as a terminally ill teen who befriends a hypochondriac, played by Asa Butterfield. David Koechner, Ken Jeong, Nina Dobrev, and Peyton List also star.
Arctic is a survival-slash-thriller starring Mads Mikkelsen as a man who must decide if he should continue to shelter in the “relatively safe” makeshift campsite of his plane crash or head into the unknown in hopes of being rescued.
Miss Bala, a remake of the 2011 film I saw but don’t remember at all, stars Gina Rodriguez as a young woman who gets sucked into cartel activity when she visits her friend in Tijuana. Just take all my money already! Matt Lauria, the bad ex on all of NBC’s dramas, and Anthony Mackie also star.
Today, on Hulu, episode five of Into The Dark: Down, the lasted from the horror anthology series by Blumhouse.
