We’re feeling a bit cerebral today over here at Screen Scholars HQ (located somewhere near the corner of Mercury and Narnia) with shouts going out to an economic documentary, a dark literary study of childhood, and George R.R. Martin’s other fanciful series.
Vice Special Report: The Panic Artists [HBO, 10p]
Love ’em or hate ’em (and I do both), Vice’s doc game is tight. Tonight they take on the major players in the bailout of those who caused the 2008 financial crisis.
My Brilliant Friend [HBO, 9p]
The story continues! How does Elena and Lila’s friendship evolve as they age? Elena and Lila struggle to stay connected as love and marriage loom overhead.
Nightflyers [Syfy, 10p]
Lommie seeks comfort in her past. Rowan prepares for big changes. The George RR Martin adaption is heading toward its conclusion. Will the crew of the Nightflyer figure out what’s going on in time?
