Apocalyptic witches, sunny housewives, and overstimulated Millennials lead our recommendations.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse [FX, 10p]
The witches have arrived, and given that the episode’s title (“Could It Be…Satan?”) hearkens back to a classic SNL sketch, this could either be the show at its quirky and irreverent best or its self-absorbedly, decadent worst. I have yet to make it through a whole season without throwing up my hands, but this eighth time might be a charm.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia [FXX, 10p]
Dee falls in with a group of housewives. Sunny’s take on Bravo’s Housewives should be hilarious.
Are You The One? [MTV, 10p]
We are very quickly approaching the end and there is no way that this group is going to win. MTV has changed the game this season in a way that has made it way less enjoyable for both players and viewers. Is it too much to ask for a no-match couple? Where is the drama?
ALSO ON TAP TONIGHT:
- Will Unsubs stop abducting Criminal Minds‘ resident model-savant Reid. Seriously, that guy does not need this. However, that’s where we left him at the end of season 13, this time the Big Bad is Benjamin Merva, who also has Garcia, and the team at the gory CBS mainstay must save him.
- CBS’ other returning team-fighting-baddies show tonight is Seal Team, back for its second season. Their mission, which they will surely choose to accept, is to save hostages.
