It’s late, but it’s here! All the trailers for this weekend’s releases. I’d recommend the Kusama documentary, and the South African Western Five Fingers For Marseilles.
Five Fingers for Marseilles is a “A rousing, heroic, original South African Western.”
Peppermint stars Jennifer Garner. It is not well-received. I feel uneasy about the pretty white woman who points fingers at face-tattooed “gang bangers” and isn’t believed in court.
Cold Skin is a French-Spanish thriller set on an island, in the Arctic Circle, in 1914.
Susanne Bartsch: On Top is a documentary about nightlife dame Susanne Bartsch.
Hal is a documentary about filmmaker Hal Ashby.
The Apparition is a French thriller that is good until the very end, apparently.
Kusama – Infinity is a documentary about artist Yayoi Kusama. Maybe you’ve seen her infinity rooms on your social media feeds?
The Nun, part of The Conjuring franchise, unseated Crazy Rich Asians at the box office. I guess everyone but me has seen Constance Wu on the big screen?
