What to Watch: 06/05/2018

Robots, working women, loving families, and ice cream lead Tuesday’s recommendations.

NAVANI’S PICK:
Younger [TVLand, 10p]
The series that makes the publishing biz look sexy is back for its fifth season (thanks, Darren Star!). Liza’s love triangles continue and now it looks like Kelsey has some steamy secrets of her own. Can Liza and Charles just figure out they are meant for each other? What crafty statement necklaces will Diana have on tap? And lastly, will Millennial continue to stay afloat through all the drama? Summer just got a little more interesting.

JASON’S PICK:
Humans [AMC, 10p]
We have a time jump (one year) as the fallout from the release of the consciousness code will certainly cause chaos on one of TV’s most mindblasting sci-fi shows.

KATHERINE’S PICK:
The Ice Cream Show [Viceland, 10:30p]
Part two of three! Brandon is getting married and everyone in the family has their own opinions about that. Brandon’s fiance Eliza seems nice enough, but her family seems like kind of the worst. What will happen next?

FIONA’S PICK:
The Fosters [Freeform, 8p]
Part two of three! Brandon is getting married and everyone in the family has their own opinions about that. Brandon’s fiance Eliza seems nice enough, but her family seems like kind of the worst. What will happen next?

ALSO ON TAP TONIGHT:

  • It’s Back To School Mixer time as Teachers‘ third season rings its opening bell on TVLand; however, Ms. Watson’s sudden poverty puts her plans in jeopardy.
  • Presumably a ton more trippy stuff happens on FX’s Legion, but its press is its usual stingy with the synopsis (but more spendthrift with their alliteration reserves) “Reunion, ruination, and rage.”
