Round up the usual suspects: it’s Thursday night–home of Shondaland, center of the Arrowverse, night of 1000 Gotham stars, and when we cut through the murk of Atlanta and hope Earn, Alfred, and Darius make it through the day.
Atlanta [FX, 10p]
“Memories of middle school” is more descriptive than what we usually get for Atlanta, but that doesn’t matter: this has been an outstanding season, so every episode of TV’s best show is a must watch.
Gotham [Fox, 8p]
It’s chaos at the GCPD and it’s up to Gordon to assert control. Meanwhile, a friend of Bruce’s gets paranoid and destructive.
Grey’s Anatomy [ABC, 8p]
This week, Alex and Jo go on a roadtrip to find Alex’s mom after discovering that she has stopped cashing the checks Alex sends her every month. Also, Meredith gives a presentation on her mini livers and that douchey intern threatens to sue the hospital for wrongful termination. Lots to look forward to.
ALSO ON TAP TONIGHT:
- When Superstore first aired on NBC, we had some worry that the office comedy would glorify working at a big box store (doing Wal*Mart’s job for them). Thankfully, Cloud 9 has never been presented as an especially heavenly place to work, and arcs have dealt with the many ways these corporations mistreat its employees and at the end of Season 4, it has all hit the fan as the employees are standing up to their CEO, putting aside the putative romance of Amy and Jonah.
- Shoes switch foots as Jack decides to aid the kids’ mission on A.P. Bio, the criminally underwatched show.
- Can Oliver save Star City? Can he save himself? The Arrow in Arrowverse airs tonight on the CW.
- Trucks get down and dirty in the mud. It’s the fourth day of the work week–which means it’s Truck Night in America on History Channel.
