Box Office Weekend: March 9, 2018

A Wrinkle In Time is this weekend’s big release, but if you’re waiting to take your niece, there’s some other stuff out this weekend (in theatres, and streaming), too.


Leaning Into The Wind is a documentary from Adam Goldsworthy.


The Hurricane Heist stars Toby Kebbell, Maggie Grace, Ryan Kwanten, and Ralph Ineson, as a band of robbers who use a Category 5 hurricane as a cover for a robbery spree.

The Death of Stalin is a dark comedy where satire meets Weekend At Bernie’s.

A Wrinkle in Time is a family fantasy film starring Oprah, Mindy Kaling, and Resse Witherspoon. Directed by Ava DuVernay, it is based on the wildly influential children’s book by Madeline L’Engle.

The Strangers: Prey At Night is a sequel to the 2008 horror film The Strangers. Christina Hendricks stars at the matriarch of the stalked family.

Thoroughbreds stars Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy as two teens who hire a guy (Anton Yelchin) to hire an obnoxious stepdad.
