The outlook is definitively bleak in tonight’s best shows. In a pair of 1990s true crime dramas, authorities continue to make wrong moves well resolving two public cases, the employees of Hampton Deville continue to simmer darkly comic in corporate hell, and Sam Bee exposes our neverending American song of racism. Thankfully, a fivesome of presentation warriors are returning from hiatus, even if the shows premise feels even more problematic than back in its mid-’00s glory days.
