While there’s not quite enough new or returning shows to have a plethora of shows, TV blesses us tonight with the debut of the latest Comedy Central comedy (hey, we’ll watch anything with Aparna Nancherla) and the return of Ryan Murphy’s successful AHS crime story spin-off — this time focusing on the murder of designer Gianni Versace.
Corporate [Comedy, 10p]
Workplace humor is nothing new, but Comedy Central’s newest series takes a decidedly darker take. Take a peek into the lives of the workers at Hampton Deville. It may be soul crushing climbing the corporate later, but you’ll laugh as you go.
American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace [FX, 10p]
After defining his new anthology with his take on the O.J. Simpsons story, Ryan Murphy returns to the 1990s chronicling the tale of the murder of the famed Versace, the fifth victim of a spree killer. This season stars Edgar Ramirez, Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin, and Darren Criss.
The Goldbergs [ABC, 8p]
Murray grounds Adam when he tries to be the class clown. The punishment clearly didn’t take.
