What to Watch: 04/15/2016

She’s alive, dammit, it’s not a miracle. As Fridays go, it’s a relatively busy one, but we’re going to a Netflix show and a Lifetime movie for our picks.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt [Netflix, 12a]
Happy Friday! The weekend just got a little brighter knowing we can spend it with 90s-slang loving, doe-eyed Kimmy Schmidt. I am ready for a new anthem from Titus and more great guest stars like Tina Fey, Amy Sedaris and Jeff Goldblum helping Kimmy navigate New York City.

Navani said it as well as I ever could.

Stolen From the Suburbs [LMN, 8p]
A single mother struggles to find her kidnapped daughter before she’s sold to an international human trafficking ring. It’s no Not Without My Daughter, but it’s sure to have an inspirational, heartfelt, happy ending.

  • The return of The Powerpuff Girls at 6pm on Cartoon Network. I mean those cartoon fb avatars were not in vain!
  • Get your biter fix on with The CW’s one-two punch, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
  • If you prefer werewolves (and were-everything else), Grimm has been tight lately — on NBC.
  • Then there’s Wynonna Earp, not starring the middle Judd as an old-timey sheriff.
